Broken part?

/ Mail it in or drop it off

If a plastic part failed and the manufacturer won't sell it separately, that's the job we do most.

Appliance handles and knobs, bracket and clip failures, obsolete parts nobody stocks anymore, custom mounts, and hard-to-find hardware. We model a replacement from scratch in CAD and print it in durable plastic — usually with more material wherever it failed the first time.

Local to Bakersfield? Drop the original off or we'll arrange pickup. Anywhere else in the country, mail the part in and we'll ship the replacement back.

Most people don't know this is an option instead of replacing the whole appliance. Usually it is.

Shop drawing & spec sheet

/ Detail A — your part, on paper

Send a STEP. Get back a print a machinist can work from.

You have the model. What you don't have is the drawing — the sheet with every hole called out, the overall dimensions, the scale, the material and mass, the spec table a shop quotes from. That takes a CAD seat and an afternoon. We turn it around for $49 a part.

Works with anything that exports STEP: SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Onshape, Inventor, FreeCAD, Rhino. STL, OBJ and 3MF files draw too.

  • Sheet 1 — the drawing. Plan, front, right and isometric views in third angle at a true standard scale. Overall dimensions on every view. Every hole, counterbore, countersink and slot called out the ASME way — 4X ⌀6 THRU, ⌀8 ↧4 ⌴⌀12 ↧2 — with positions from a datum. Edge rounds noted.
  • Sheet 2 — the spec. Material and density, mass, size, volume, surface area, a hole schedule with X-Y-Z coordinates, print notes, best print orientation, and a bill of materials line.
  • Numbered and revision-tracked. Every sheet carries a drawing number that stays with the part for life. Change the part later and the reissue comes back as Rev B, same number.
  • Delivered as PDF and PNG, letter size, ready to print, email, or drop in a quote package.

How it works

/ Idea → model → part
Step 01

Send a photo

Use the quote form below. A photo of the part with a quarter next to it for scale is ideal — a sketch or a full spec works too. The quote is free, with no obligation.

Step 02

We model it

You get a 3D model and drawing to review before anything prints. Revisions happen here, where they're cheap.

Step 03

We print it

Printed in the right material for the job, checked for fit and finish, and delivered. Most single parts are 3–5 days from an approved quote.

About

/ The story

Aerojays Design started the way a lot of good things do — as a hobby that got out of hand.

What began as tinkering with a 3D printer turned into something bigger: fixing the part nobody sells, customizing the thing that's almost-but-not-quite right, and turning rough ideas into something you can actually hold.

Somewhere along the way, the hobby became the whole point. Every model is drawn and every part is printed by me, one at a time, right here in Bakersfield — no warehouse, no overseas factory. Just someone who'd rather solve the problem than tell you it can't be done.

If you've got something broken, something missing, or something that only exists in your head — that's exactly the kind of thing I like to make.

And if you just want something silly — a goofy gadget, a weird little gift, a random odd-and-end that made you laugh — I'll happily print that too.

One rail on the wall. Every tool has a home.

AeroCleat is a French-cleat wall system printed in PETG: mount a rail once, then hang hooks, bins and holders on it — no new holes, ever. Every module shares the same bevel, so anything you add later fits anything you already have. Designed and printed here in Bakersfield, shipped anywhere in the US.
